Graham has a BSC (hons) in Mechanical Engineering, and commenced his loss adjusting career in 1975, as a graduate trainee in the City with what was then Robins Davies & Little. He is qualified by examination as ACII, and is a Chartered Insurance Practitioner, a Fellow and Past President of the Chartered institute of Loss Adjusters (FCILA), and also has a European Loss Adjusting qualification FUEDI-ELAE.
He has over 40 years of experience as a loss adjuster, the majority handling major loss, ultimately working as the UK Technical Director of GAB Robins before they were taken over by Crawford where he continued to deal with Major Loss & Professional Indemnity matters, often focusing upon high technology claims and loss of research, where his scientific education is of significant assistance.
During his career he has worked as an expert witness, and been involved in numerous arbitrations, as well as giving evidence both as an expert witness in the High Court and as a Crown Prosecution witness in a major fraud trial.
He brings to Flaxmans a wealth of claims handling experience gained at senior level over many years.”
